A Happy New Year to the Gentle Author too, who helps me keep in touch with my London roots! This includes ‘Ludgate’ Hill. Am I right in thinking that there is now a reproduction of The Ludgate to the north of St Paul’s Cathedral where, in my time in the 1960s, there was the horrific, then ultra-modern, ‘Paternoster Square’?
