Sheila, what a lovely memory and honor for Uncle Harry to say grace at your wedding. Marion is still alive and lives in North London, she is very elderly, as you can imagine. We will show her all these amazing comments about Uncle Harry. Thank you

Harry was the heart of Quaker street and Brick Lane. A very rare and special type of shopkeeper, we will not see his like again. Greatly respected and deserving of all his accolades. Thanks for your kindness and generosity Harry.

I lived in Great Eastern Buildings from 59 to 61-62 i’m not sure but my mother may have lived above the shop for a short while, she was a single mother from Ireland having been kicked out out by her family and came to east london to protect me from forced adoption in the mothers homes in Dublin. I’d love to know if I am correct.
