Wonderful, what else can one say, just wonderful.

GA, I enjoyed those delightful summer scenes depicted by George Cruikshank almost two centuries ago. The one of the Royal Academy reminded me of visiting that great June show a few years back.
It was a gorgeous day strolling along Picadilly, checking out Hatchard’s Bookstore. I found a great bio there that day of Sir Christopher Sykes (recall the maligned Sykes/Picot pact) that I never would have found on this side of the pond.
Really missing London today and the way thing used to be…

He was indeed a wonderful Caricaturist one of the best along side Gilray.. I used to buy
them when I was a Student in London, they were so out of Fashion one could buy them
for 6d Black and White, and 1/6d Coloured.. He also Illustrated the Microcosm of
London in two volumes…
