GA, I enjoyed those delightful summer scenes depicted by George Cruikshank almost two centuries ago. The one of the Royal Academy reminded me of visiting that great June show a few years back. 

It was a gorgeous day strolling along Picadilly, checking out Hatchard’s Bookstore. I found a great bio there that day of Sir Christopher Sykes (recall the maligned Sykes/Picot pact) that I never would have found on this side of the pond.
