This Coldstore looks very much like No 6 block. In December 1968 I started working for the City of London as a technical Assistant working alongside Meat Inspectors on the top floor of this building where there was an examination room to inspect imported meat from many Countries like South America, Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, Australia et al. The road gantry to the sheds opposite was not present and had been removed certainly before the end of 1968. I understand there were other cold stores in the Docks but this was before my time but the one pictured was opposite 29 berth which was mainly used for discharging frozen NZ lambs in slings.
