    I have a ancestor from this area: Guillaume de Santhuns (1697-1770) – silk dresser of Masons Court, Brick Lane. The de Santhuns came from Cambrai, N France in the late 16thc and settled in Canterbury and were mostly silk weavers.

    I am writing about Guillaume, later William de Santhuns, so I would like to hear about Tim Kendall’s ancestors, if he is still around.
