    This amazing find shows my great great grandfather’s china shop Joseph Palkowski who later went into the deli business – opening Marks of the Lane just across the road at 57 (then 59) Wentworth Street – run by his grandson Mossy Marks, with his sister Golda Levy (my grandmother). At the time of this photo he also had a warehouse at 36 Old Castle Street (I have a photo of this).
