Interesting photos about the changing role of women in the Victorian period. Her Majesty QUEEN ELIZABETH II certainly made a similarly important impact in her era.
QUEEN ELIZABETH II (1926-2022) — I had the pleasure of meeting her three times in Braemar at the Highland Games. May She Rest In Peace.

What a remarkable set of portraits
Quite a mix, from the slightly fey to the extremely formidable. Hurrah for the late Victorian and Edwardian women, who wanted a quality photograph. What would they wouid make of their Twenty – First Century sisters snapping each other with phones and posting on social media? Not much I imagine. Far too undignified.
