    I really like the look of this work – the overpainted white makes the sky and the the ground move fluidly and the buildings appear to float precariously on them. Just how you would feel, I guess, if you’d spent the war as a gunner and then returned home to a blitzed London.

    Does anybody know how much of his work we can see in the Piano Nobile show near Hyde Park – it doesn’t look like it’s a solo show, but I wish it was.
