   I am sure I have seen this photograph, or one very similar to it perhaps from a different perspective, before. I am going to dig around. Gosh this is bugging me! What would be interesting would be to find out why a small photography business, based in Brightlingsea, would have been commissioned to photograph this part of the Eastend.
   I am not really convinced that he was at a loose end, having walked out of the railway station, and just to take photographs with such precise notes. After all the out lay in photographic materials would have been considerable, especially if there was no guarantee of reimbursement.
