What wonderful pictures. And so affectionately painted. Thank you GA for sharing.

Looking at the cozy corners and tabletops depicted in this work……….So personal and descriptive, I felt like I could hear muffled voices and music coming from the hallway. These paintings evoked moments in life when we look up in a beloved room (whether our own, or maybe in a friend’s house), look around us, and think “life is good”. That dollop of orange paint in the Dorset kitchen almost blew me across the room. Like a bright red “chop” on a Chinese document.

I loved this series — so perfect and meditative for a Sunday morning.
Thank you, GA. Best of luck in all your endeavors.

Lovely ! As a watercolour painter I particularly appreciate those working in oils and how light is used .A great sense of place in some of these paintings.
    Thank you …

Fabulous paintings which show that Eleanor is just as good at handling oils in a looser style as she is at using watercolours in her more detailed depictions of buildings.

Lovely use of light, reflections, and textures, particularly in the bowls of fruit which look good enough to eat!

A celebration of light skillfully painted. The greys in the St. John’s painting are breathtaking.

Looks like a great show at Townhouse. The one of the Kitchen of Jagir Kaur and Suresh Singh is a keeper. Well, one can dream.
