Another beautiful collection of photographs- really lovely peaceful gardens. Green thoughts in green shades.
This shows how much can be made beautiful even in fairly small enclosed and shaded spaces.

Thank you GA, another good start before the day piles in!

Ah, I like the one with the black-&-white cat & a Tasmanian Tree fern ( Dicksonia antartica ) in the background.
I notice a black cat “supervising” from a wall-top in another picture, too!

Evocative of our cat Chi Chi, and our backyard, and Rosie Botcher, who had a backyard full of plsnts with sticks and jars and bottles, to stop cats or birds dsmaging them.

Oh, we visited some of these gardens when they opened in 2018! They were lovely. There is something so very special about city gardens, especially when they are small and filled with glorious plants.

Lush, tranquil, ingenious planting so cleverly captured and including the gardens open day we may visit on the Queen’s birthday, Sat 11 June.

“Smudgie” featuring 3 times in the ‘Roman oasis’ is a bonus, especially as she’s trendily wearing her black shades on top of head under the loveheart chair

The iron gate ajar beside her, as if she was left in charge to let you in….

What delightful little ‘hidden gems’. Sadly wasn’t able to see them in person, but wonderful just to know they exist.
