    So there were posh families in the east end too? My ancestors were too poor to have their photos taken :(. I love old photos of every description. It was a pity it wasn’t the norm to write on the back who they were. (But i suppose the original owners knew them, and didn’t feel the need to write on the back). Amazing collection – thank you for sharing.
