I am not a Londoner but lived there many years ago and still like to visit. I am always shocked by property values and rents in the Capital. This is a very sad story and makes me angry how unchecked capitalism affects good, hardworking people.
My mother Rose worked in the Stoney Lane cafe for many years and has fond memories of Ulberto. I also worked there in school holidays and can remember being treated well by the family including Peter. As I write this I am talking to my mum who is now 90 years of age and has great respect for the family.
We all hope the family continue to have great success
Best Wishes
Rose and Keith Simson
