I can see a ghostly figure on the left here.
‘Carriers Supplied’ inscribed half way up front of building facade dated back to the 19th.century and earlier when many carriers collected parcels/packages for onward passage throughout the Metropolis and further afield from such premises. In later years they would leave a carrier’s card in window requesting carmen to call when required.
