The Reverend Malcolm Johnson (left) together with a Catholic priest conducting a midnight mass for homeless people at St Dunstan’s Church, Stepney, London in 1978. Johnson is now retired but ran the St Botolph’s Crypt wet shelter for hungry and homeless people in the 1970s and ’80s.
