You are right to highlight some of the historic houses and streets around Stepney, Limehouse and just off the Commercial Road. Senrab Street has a claim to fame that few would know. It was here that one of the most successful boys football club started life. Today Senrab FC is still going strong. The old boys include John Terry, Jermaine Defoe, Ledley King, Ray Wilkins, Bobby Zamora, Sol Campbell, Lee Bowyer and the list goes on. At one time so many players went on to represent Chelsea that Senrab FC was regarded as Chelsea Juniors.
