What a lovely piece – delightful drawings and a sad loss to the architecture of London – that fine old hospital. A cat’s nature is caught here completely.
Touching poetry and lovely drawings which brought a smile to my face. Poor Christopher Smart – at least he had his cat. I used to work in mental health and with the homeless in London, it’s a shame that a lot of the hostels don’t take dogs and cats, they are a balm to the soul. St. Mungo’s hostel used to take dogs though. Wonder if they still do. Thanks, Gentle Author.
