    These are remarkable pictures. I worked at the Curwen Press, Plaistow from 1961 when letterpress was being replaced by Litho. So I can remember when typography on this scale was just becoming a shadow of its former self.
    Alas, technology has even overtaken the Litho craft process now,
    But the good name of the Curwen Press ( now defunct) lives on.
