Having written about Harry myself, it was sad to see his shop boarded up and ready for demolition. End of an amasing era.
All things must change – that seems to be the rule of human existence – but Harry and his shop will live on in many hearts and minds for decades to come.
RIP Harry and thank you Gentle Author for such a poignant picture.
I live, on top of Harry fishmans shop when I was a little girl I loved him very much, he used to give me and my sister the chocolate’s that could no longer be sold, and I remember the cream soda and ice cream drinks he made for us, lovely memories, brick lane, not the same now, everyone looked after each other,
