    Can you tell me if 47 Wellclose Square was Synagogue.
    One of my ancestors was married there; I have a copy of the Marriage Certificate.

    My 2x Gt Grandfather, Matthew Eltham owned the Old Mahogany Bar in Grace’s Alley (just off Wellclose Sq) until 1850, when he sold it to John Wilton (Wilton’s Music Hall)
