    Great photo of Eric Blake – a fine British boxer who fought here in Australia three times. One of my close friends was also a professional boxer who used to spar with many of the international fighters who came over to box on Melbourne promotions (always main events). Only recently my friend was saying that two best British boxers he sparred with were Bunny Sterling and Eric Blake. Also said they were good blokes. I saw two of Eric’s fights here and he was certainly a tough customer with a good technique. I hope he is happy and healthy- Eric Blake is remembered fondly by us Aussie fight fans.
