    I went to Central Foundation Girls’ School, Spital Square and this scene was the backdrop to my school life from 1960 to 1967. A school-friend’s home was a flat above the market and during my sixth-form years I would sometimes stay with her and her family over Saturday night, so would also see the very different weekend scene.

    I would love a print of this painting to frame. Do you know if one’s available anywhere?
