    My daughter is researching our family tree on my father’s side and found Jean Rondeau is my 6th great grandfather. We’re going to visit the church this Thursday. WE’re very excited as we knew nothing of our family beyond my grandfather until yesterday!

    My great great great great grandfather came from Caen in Normandy in 1749 . He was a Hugenot, Peter Le Chevalier. He set up business, a weaving mill in Avening Glos. after some time in London. Where would I be likely to find more information about him and his stay in London.? I know that he married a young English woman called Anne Gibbs.
