Really interesting photograph. I’m sure that the building directly to the north of 123 Bethnal Green Road is Linden Buildings (where I lived from my birth in 1948 until we moved to Canada in 1961. Wondering if you can confirm and if there are any direct photographs of Linden Buildings that you know of?
Thanks
I lived in Lindon Buildings from 1953 until the late 60s. My ancesters name Barchou lived 96 Bethnal Green Road and around that area.
Hi I lived @ 26 Linden Buildings, from 1954 to 64 , with my sisters & parents. I lived on ground floor, I remember Barry Mendel. I too am looking for old photos of Linden Buildings . ?

Hi Marian, I remember you and your sisters Margaret and Kathleen and your parent Margaret and Thom. We’ve lived in Canada since 1961 and have been back to London a few times over the years. My sister Linda has a few pictures of Linden Buildings. Not sure how to get them into public viewing.
Regards to you and your family
