I have this painting and it is signed i know it is old it has hallmarks stamped on it who was commissioned to do paintings it would help on determining the artist….it also says copyrighted in the united states of america for Alfred Bell … it looks like velenium paper engraved .. Help me out …..
I have the copy of Mr. Wheatley’s cries of London woman selling matches with her son and dog, plus a woman selling flowers for a penny her daughter son and dog are with her. The copies are done on what looks like velenium paper with a water mark embossed. I know the paintings are not done by Mr. Wheatley as under the paintings is Copyrighted in the United States of American for Alfred Bell 6 Old Bond St., London, England. The edges are done with tiny little spots and the signature of the person who did the copying in pencil in the right hand corner. Could you help me in tell me what these copies are worth and do you want pictures sent to you of both pictures with the signature?
