Thankyou for the interesting history of glass baubles , I love them too . Ive collected them randomly over the years and they always bring a sense of wonder when I see them again at Christmas. One Christmas morning we discovered our new kitten had scaled the tree and the whole room was scattered with broken baubles , including some very delicate birds I had just bought complete with little tail feathers .. it was very funny at the same time , a classic scene !. She was too big to do it the following years ! I really love reading your stories and am looking forward to having time to read them now the fuss has died down .
Best wishes Susie
p.s I try to date them by they’re fixing , do you have any information on that aspect ?
