WHAT. HAPPENED TO ALL THE BONES. Where were they then dumped or crushed? This is amazing. Plus. the History knowledge about the stones and where they came from.

Just like everywhere else, in London too they used to demolish everything ‘old’ — fortunately, these days they take a more sensitive view of such matters. And they preserve and protect the remaining old structures.
