It seems huge & must’ve been very grand in its day, back when Benjamin Truman originally lived there.
I hope it is protected & will be preserved intact for student architects, historians & art events to make use of & enjoy endlessly..

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL WANDER THRU A BEAUTIFUL HOME..IT WAS VERY WELCOMING..THE IMAGES STILL HOLD MEMORIES OF PEOPLE. THE ORIGINAL BUILDERS WOULD SMILE WITH PRIDE AT THEIR CONSTRUCTION OF THIS HOUSE. THANK YOU

I remember going to a party there in the 80s when a young guy had bought it. The toilet was on a landing with a curtain across it. There was no lighting and we were running up and down stairs, hiding in the shadows to jump out and scare our friends. I am so glad that it has been kept as it was, instead of being gutted out and turned into some modern white interiors

A very interesting house!
I was fortunate to be able to have a look around when an Art exhibition was held there, definitely recommend if you get the chance to go inside.
