I will tell you every year I have this in my calendar and every year I’m doing something??
So a week before the event we are visiting next Sunday and you will not believe how excited I am!!
I also have Pepys diary entry for every day as an email and remember this entry vividly about him seeing the Punch and Judy show in Covent Garden !!

Punch & Judy puppets. For whatever reason, I can’t view these without weeping. They touch my heart, tug at my funny bone, and seem to be so pleased to end up together in a beautiful nurturing museum full of toys and regalia. To me, they are one of the highlights of that exalted collection; and THAT’S saying a lot.
