I have his wonderful book, ‘East End’ published by the Gentle Author and treasure it. I remember JB’s (John Brimacombe) name being mentioned when I was a typographer at McCanns in the early 80s. The East End from JCs experiences has long gone now but the spirit of the characters and places live on in these brilliant photographs.
