Here in Kassel, too, the nostalgia-inspired Landgrave Wilhelm IX of Hesse-Kassel had the magnificent Löwenburg Castle built from 1793 onwards. It is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe.
