Very few places like this exist anymore. More's the pity. And if they do they are run by good souls who are completely unpaid and with little funding or funded by generous donations. I suppose the excuse to close them down would be "health and safety", which is often a blanket used to not fund vital work out in the real world. Without places like these many people are lost and left out. What would the prophet Jesus Christ say to that. It is against his teachings to not care. How marvellous this work was. Brilliant photographic record of this place and the people who found refuge and comfort there.
