My mother worked at home for a coat factory and we got to know a young man named Ali who delivered and picked up the bundles.   He lived with about 8 other young men nearby and they all sent part of their wages home to their families or saved a modest amount in their Post Office accounts.   Reading these accounts reminded me of him for the first time in years.]]></description>
