Sad to see so many go to the wall though, and worse, stand there derelict and unloved. Not sure what the answer is… Once a community has gone, it rarely comes back.

His favourites were the ones all the builders drank in. When his wife went into labour 2 of us had to go round the pubs looking for him, we eventually found him in the New Moon on Gracechurch Street :))
