How about local councils build yards/depots to provide space and support to local people to thrive with reasonable/fair rents/leases and build sustainable businesses. Why on earth do the landlords want to push them out of business by continually pushing up the rents? Who are they thinking might take the premises on if these people have to leave – I know Len’s former arch in Hoxton is still empty!
