Leslie street which was one of the  the oldest streets in Whitechapel and even older than my old street Milward street ,had a pump which  served the local residents .
Both streets were demolished completely as a product of removing houses as the letter sent to my Mum’s letter said, “Unfit for human habitation .”]]></description>
