I am enthralled with the foliage that is "within and without" the graceful church window.
How magical to see the remains of the structure, now fully engulfed with winding branches,
twisted vines, a hint of velvet moss, and endless shades of green. A secret garden, indeed.

GA, you've inspired me to jump into my work clothes and get out and arrange some of my
planters. It has been too COLD here in the Hudson Valley to attempt all that - but today is
perfect. Happy Memorial Day.

Dream on! Ninety-two now and able to do little but dream, alas! Were I able to have my time again and do with it what I will, I would have settled myself in a niche somewhere in the City and spent my time exploring the treasures you kindly place before our eyes. How I regret the ignorant and unseeing eyes with which I strolled City streets as a teen-ager! How time passes and opportunities fade!
