					<description><![CDATA[We lived on the next road (Banbury road) to John in the 70’s and were friends with his daughter. In fact he gave our parents two limited signed prints. John Allin was one of the nicest down to earth people you could ever meet. He really was a great artist and so sad he passed away so young.]]></description>

I went to see him a few times and he offered me a place to live when I was a teenager .
He was caretaker at the Troxy .

I needed a place to write but my trust had gone by then of adults so I never took it up .]]></description>
