Dear GA
As someone who has connected with you from DAY ONE ! (and once saw you in Waterstones in Canary Wharf).
I would like to say that, even though i was born in Bethnal Green, bought most of your books, then, retired to Devon.
I wait with anticipation your podcasts on a daily basis.
My biggest regret is that i cannot get to your walks or talks.
My goodness ! we could share some great times !
Just let me say, a very Merry Christmas and a successful 2025, all of which you deserve

Thankyou

Kind Regards

I had an aimless wander in the city recently. As I had been reading David Copperfield, I had wanted to go to the Dickens museum in Doughty Street, but it was closed that day. Near Chancery Lane I took a side road and after another turn noticed a narrow alley, Tooks Court, with some old houses. One of them was signed as a house Dickens had lived in. I thought it was a happy coincidence!
