&quot;In those days, I was keen to show off my technical skills and didn’t really like the effect – so I quickly gave up using colour and returned to black and white. But, looking back at these pictures now, I wonder what I was thinking. I find the colour shifts and graininess quite gorgeous and I regret not taking the idea further.”
My father used to &#039;hand colour&#039; black and white photos for a while back in the day - the early &#039;50s!
I have just two of them which in my mind is as equal a disappointment as David might well feel upon his reflection given that to have such an archive from that age today would be a seventh heaven.]]></description>
