So many lively and astute sketches, and the narrative street-savvy comments are priceless.   I especially enjoyed seeing how Mr. Fletcher depicted his fellow artists, and could imagine their kindred dialog.         

The book about London during Dickens&#039;
time looks fascinating, also.
