These photos break my heart every time I look at them. Nobody deserves to end up addicted and unseen, discarded by society and turned close to feral by the experience. Bless Fr Malcolm and David Hoffman and all the people who were courageous enough to SEE these men and women and treat them with dignity and respect regardless of their situation. I honestly don’t know if I have that kind of courage.
