Thanks for this fascinating story. I have met Millie a few times as I am friends with her daughter Shula Rich. We both went to Central Foundation Girls’ School in Spital Square, which is where Millie attended. Shula and Millie both attended a school reunion and it was lovely to see them both together remembering their school days with everyone else.
