Oh my goodness what a wonderful interview! So many points of great wisdom, insight, and empathy for everyday people. GA, your perspective on history — “we live in a time when notions of history are really in a crisis and are being challenged, and there’s a whole revolution going on about what we think history is.” — is one I take to heart. Without your revolutionary view, so much of the East End’s history and community would be lost.
