People through the ages leaving their marks on stones. Expressions of times that now seem to have come from story books. John Donne's beautiful face and lyrical garb.

The blackened bodies seem to say something ... human dignity? human folly? a search for meaning? I don't know.

Anyway, I am transported as I begin my day.

Three words that explain why I am addicted to Spitalfields Life:

"Viking grave marker".

Just --- Wow. My mind is enlarged by what I learn here. And my visual vocabulary is expanded by the images I see here. The incredible motifs in this historic "marker" will fuel my creative fires.
It is one of the most compelling fragments I've seen -- ever!

Amazing. GA, you are the best.
