					<description><![CDATA[These designs are so smart, so colorful, so buoyant, and distinctive.   The CIRCUS panel made me want to stand up and cheer.   I love how the &quot;audience&quot; is equally fun and theatrical, in addition to the performers.  Dare I say, an entire children&#039;s book on this topic, by this artist, would be a joy.  

 Since the artist herself enjoyed mentioning her design influences, I will pile on and say how much this work reminds me of Alice and Martin Provenson.   An American couple who co-authored/illustrated dozens of children&#039;s book with a style that was so sophisticated and color-drenched (like Ms. Elliot!) it must have influenced many young people to appreciate fine design.
