Swans are mighty beasts to wrestle with and a wing can break a human arm, but to capture one in a small rowing boat seems like madness. However, this is another archaic English eccentricity and, I am sure, provides useful scientific data on the population. In Worcester, the population is vast, and bold. I can image that a great deal of non-compliance would be met here also. 
I&#039;m glad that we aren&#039;t roasting swans anymore. They are beautiful birds and I hope suffer nothing more than indignity when being upped. Thanks for another interesting piece GA, this Swan must now fly off!]]></description>
