Such colour and joy. I think many of us have forgotten the feeling of renewal that comes with the spring equinox (I realise that much of it has been absorbed into Easter orthodoxy, and I have no problem with that, but no one of my acquaintance wears a wreath of spring leaves on Easter morning)!

I felt particularly joyful looking at the portrait of Pan with his pipes! We don’t get that it Concord, Massachusetts!
