I must say, I love to hear church bells ring. Where I live in Brisbane Australia, if I happen to be on my patio when the local Greek Orthodox church’s bells ring, I feel delighted. When I was in Sligo town in Ireland’s west, it was just beautiful the hear all the bells ringing out the prayer times such as the Angelus. I know my ancestors also heard those bells which makes my heart sing. Mind you, I understand it might have been bells ringing for the Green of Ireland and that side of my Irish rellies were Orange…….but, I can’t help that.
